School of Ecological Nurturance (SEN)

School of Ecological Nurturance (SEN) strengthens India’s capacity for ecological wellbeing by training restoration practitioners to design solutions rooted in place and community. A long-term alliance of four organisations—Gurukula Botanical Sanctuary, The Forest Way, Upstream Ecology, and Adavi Trust—SEN is building regional learning infrastructure and leadership across the Western Ghats, Deccan dry forests, and thorn scrub landscapes. Beyond training, SEN aims to shift public mindsets and enable systems-wide engagement grounded in ecological care.
